A Great Way to Make Donations to Hospitality House:
Make a monthly donation using a direct transfer from your bank account to the Hospitality House bank account.
Doing so does away with the bother of writing and mailing checks and saves us admnistration costs and credit card processing fees. You will receive an email confirmation of your donation on the date it is made. You can stop the transfer process at any time.

Hospitality House is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized for the specific purpose of providing assistance to the homeless.

Hospitality House is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and exempt from state franchise or income tax under code section 23701d of the California Revenue and Taxation Code.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We need volunteers.
This year many will be homeless who have not been before.

We now urgently need:
NEW men’s and women's thermal underwear and warm socks.

We can always use donations of:
Milk
Single-size flat bed sheets
White towels & wash cloths
Razors
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Slightly used or new warm jackets
Sleeping bags
Gift certificates to shoe stores
Coffee shop gift certificates
Fast food gift certificates
Bus Passes
Movie Passes
Pre-paid phone cards.

We continue to hope for instruments for musicians at Hospitality House
Bass guitar
Bass amp
Guitar Amp
Guitar cables
Microphones and microphone cords
Drum equipment - kick pedal, hi-hat stand.

Preparing for the coming summer months:
Insect repellent
Sleeping bags
Tents.

Those items can be dropped of at the Hospitality House Welcome Center, located right next to the Grass Valley United Methodist Church at 236 South Church Street in Grass Valley from 1:00 to 4:00 PM daily.

Please do not drop off items when we are closed.

JOB CORNER

Our guests are always looking for day jobs and/or long term employment. Please give us a call at 530-271-7144 if you need anything done, particularly:
- house care, cleaning, house sitting, meal preparation, errands
- painting
- yard work, garden maintenance and design
- construction word
- in-home care, elder care, specialized care

LEND A HAND

Cheap rentals: rooms, apartments, homes, trailers, anything!
Help someone fill out forms and take them to appointments
Offer rides to guests who work but don't have cars
